Above the Rim

Finally, a film that addresses the growing epidemic of young black men accidentally jumping through windows in a high-rise building playing basketball. Tupac turns in a good performance, and the basketball scenes are great, but everything else is kind of ehh

Its ok. But nothing to write home about. Soundtrack is pretty good though. Its just not as powerful as I think it likes to say it is.

Passes the time.

at first I thought this movie was just alright but after seeing it again on tv there was a lot about this movie I liked. The plot is kind of "bin-there-done-that" but the 80s-90s feel is what gives it its charm. Good actors/characters aswell.
