Edina and Patsy are still oozing glitz and glamor, living the high life they are accustomed to; shopping, drinking and clubbing their way around London's trendiest hot-spots. Blamed for a major incident at an uber fashionable launch party, they become entangled in a media storm and are relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi. Fleeing penniless to the glamorous playground of the super-rich, the French Riviera, they hatch a plan to make their escape permanent and live the high life forever more! (imdb)

The enjoyment came from seeing these characters again. Saunders and Lumley don't miss a beat. There were a lot of fun celebrity cameos. I was having a ball for the first 30 minutes, but then the movie began to demand a plot and that's where the whole thing falls apart. I felt a little short-changed when we reached the climax. I just wish Saunders had spent a little more time on the screenplay. With a little more work, the movie could've been elevated beyond a fun nostalgic trip.

Really, really bad. I imagine AbFab fans hated this more than others

This film is not meant for me as I'd seen clips from the show in the past and didn't find them particularly funny either. Fans of the show however, should love this just as much since it's the same writer and, judging by the gay gentleman behind me, should cackle with maniacal glee at all the absurdities and fabulousness on display. For me, I spent my time wondering if this still qualifies as satire of the glamorous life since I get the vibe that its fans would like to live this way as well.

Probably as good an adaptation of the TV series to the big screen as you could hope for, the film works better in parts than as a whole, and the highlights are those that stray closer to the best moments of the TV series (especially the more bizarre aspects of the Patsy character) rather than the at times awkward attempts to make Edina and Patsy's adventures 'bigger' for the cinema screen. Some hilarious gags, and Lumley is always a delight -- a lot of fun celebrity cameos as well.

I was never a big fan of the series, but the movie gaver me some laughs. Everyone is extremely shallow and self-centered and totally without redeeming features, and nothing changes about that in the movie. I kinda like that there is no reflection or epiphany and the characters still stay as dumb and self-centered after the movie is done. It works for them.

If the series "Sex and the City" couldn't get even one decent full-length flick out of their material, this one probably wasn't going to be able to manage it, and it didn't. Too bad - the show was... well... fabulous!

Diehard fans will find Eddy and Patsy even more AbFab on the big screen. The movie? Not so much. Too many locations, a convoluted plot, and second-tier celeb cameos distract from the wonders of Lumley and Saunders, who make 60 look like the new 40. OK, not really. But the efforts of Eddy and Patsy to hold back the ravages of time -- Patsy carries her own Botox injections -- may nudge out a sniffle or two, that is when you're not spitting up from laughing.

Completely daft but if you find the characters amusing this is enjoyable escapism with some witty dialogue and a host of celebrity cameos to spot.

I grew up with the show so I knew what to expect. This was like a reunion of old celebs I didn't even know were still alive.
