Academy Leader Variations

One of the most iconic pieces of utilitarian cinema (the 8-7-6-5-4-3-2 countdown), reimagined by a number of animators from Poland, the US, China, and Switzerland. As with any anthology, it's a mixed bag--some of them try too hard or not hard enough--but others, especially the Chinese entries, are quite delightful, and there's some lovely animation on display here. At 5 minutes, it's certainly worth a look if you're into 80s animation.
