A clip from an authentic Kabuki play which in it self is pretty interesting but it's just a shame that there is no background or contexts to what the hell was going on.

Apparently, this is an authentic kabuki performance filmed in Osaka in late 1897, and starring Ganjiro Nakamura I (one of the big names in Meiji-era kabuki).
