Acts of Vengeance

While this might be a horribly generic, budget rate action revenge movie. It's predictable and the action isn't even that satisfying, but I'll be god damned if Banderas isn't dead sexy in a suit.

this is my third banderas movie this year. He is the next in line to transition to cheap action thrillers. Bad script, movie feels lowbudget.

Acts of Vengeance is such a bland title for an action movie about someone who takes a vow of silence. Why wasn't this called "Talk is Cheap"? Good thing Karl Urban had a bag full of incriminating evidence otherwise we never would've known the motive. I'm sure all of those lawyer magazines helped him achieve his revenge.

Famous lawyer and lousy dad/husband seeks revenge after finding stoic philosophy from Marcus Aurelius' Meditations, karate and underground MMA, shutting his mouth in order to better hear the signs that might lead him to the killer (cop whose daughter was murdered by a man who happened to be one of many Banderas' clients). Not enough fights -- but it's good to see Banderas so physically challenged. Unecessary off -- the dude doesn't talk! -- only makes the plot dumber. Uninspired A Man Apart.
