YouTube.

Not entirely accurate when referring to people. It's also a bit racist and there are several fake staged scenes. The narrator isn't as clever or humorous as he thinks he is. Still, I had fun watching it.

Interesting documentary for the 1930s but how the narrator and other "Westerners" in the movie behaved left a bad taste in my mouth.

A rather goofy relic of the early sound era, remembered for making a cheesy matinee hit out of some so-so documentary footage by throwing in lamely jokey, nasally narration, an overabundance of Foley work, and some staged scenes shot at a zoo in California. The staged bits range from little exchanges about how the footage was shot, to a profoundly stupid attempt at comedy, to a big narrative involving a (very fake) mauling and a supposed gun battle against a pack of lions.
