Pretty bad writing with lots of melodrama and an amusing disregard for procedural realism. No one sees anything wrong with broad-daylight witness tampering in this movie, the lawyer is quite violent and thinks he can arrest people, and so on. Despite boasting the names of Giulietta Masina and Massimo Girotti, most of the acting is very hammy.
