Achuthan (Manian Pillai Raju) is in love with Nandini (Menaka), who is his cousin (maternal uncle's daughter). But his uncle K. P. Thankappan Nair (Nedumudi Venu) will only allow a person from abroad to marry her. Very funny and entertaining movie. One of the very few movies where Manian Pillai Raju got to play the leading man. Sreenivasan comes across as the best contributer to the success of the movie with his funny screenplay and his hilarious portrayals of the Arab Sheik and the rich business man, acts he puts on to fool Nedumudi Venu's character in the movie.
