an interesting conceit, having your father narrate a scoreless show game he himself refereed, and using that as a means to talk about the politics and power structures of romania at the time. listening to their ruminations shows just how pointless kicking a ball in the snow is. you can tell that corneliu runs out of things to talk about though, because a lot of the discussion is as equally inane as the sport on screen. could have done with a better question asker.
