Bugs and Daffy are tunnelling their way to a vacation spot (with Bugs doing all the work, naturally), when a wrong turn lands them in a cave in the middle of the desert. Daffy's true nature once again shines through when the cave is discovered to be full of treasure. Daffy's glee quickly turns to terror, however, when Hassan the guard (whose only orders are "chop!") catches him with his hands in the gold. (imdb)

One of the Looney Tune cartoons I remember seeing a lot in repeats of the bugs bunny and tweety show, it's probably why I knew of sarsaparilla at such a young what the hell is sarsaparilla age. Bugs just wants to munch on some clams

The only good thing about this toon is that it's all about the *old* Arab stereotypes, which is a refreshing change from all the new ones about 72 virgins and flying jet aircraft into skyscrapers

One of those animated shorts you remember on occasion. I'm not entirely sure if the themes are lifted from other shorts, or if they were started here, but that adds to its timeless quality.
