Inspired by concepts from the field of astrobiology - the study of life on other worlds - this documentary explores the idea that the bizarre creatures living in the extreme environments found on the ocean floor might provide a blueprint for what life is like elsewhere in the universe. (Disney)

I Have More Money Than You, Biatches - The Movie. -27 points for the language used throughout. There needed to be MUCH more profanity. Modern sailors are far too eloquent and prudish for my tastes. If Disney can sneak a giant penis into the Aladdin poster, they can get a graduate student to say whoreson or crotchrot.

Despite knowing that Cameron has such a fascination with the underwater world, this felt just a little bit uninspired. Disjointed, doesn't really tell you what you're seeing when it comes to animals, doesn't tell about how they survive, what they eat. They are just there, which keeps them mysterious, I guess, but I really wanted to learn about these creatures.

Really interesting, to me at least.

I enjoyed the visuals but I despised the dialouge and allusions to what life might be like on other worlds.

Considering the title, there is limited amount of content actually showing deep sea marine life. Too much of the documentary covers the bright eyed marine biologists and their wide mouthed reactions to what we'd rather be viewing. As well as neophyte scientific speculation by Cameron that seems to displease his colleagues more than anything else. You could say he was..in too deep..maybe, in over his head..or perhaps, out of his league?

Thought this one was pretty dull and slow. If you'd watched the Discovery shows that have a similar plot... then don't watch this as it seems they have rehashed the same material with a TON of needless jargon-laced filler.

Interesting and great underwater stuff. If you're interested in sea stuff and astronomy you might be interested in this. Some really beautiful and strange creatures are shown here, really breathtaking
