A 60yo falls in love with a another 60yo except they pretend there’s 26 year age gap between them and other is CGI’d into a child. This is a fucking Benjamin Button horror iteration. I’m sorry. The de-aging and CGI face implantation broke every and any submersion into the story. As for the story - the movie effectively manages to make all the life events of one of the most successful singers mundane. Terrible vanity project for the director who played Aline. Someone should’ve said no.

Despite its flaws, the film is an engaging and emotional portrayal of Céline Dion's life and career. Valérie Lemercier's performance as Aline is exceptional, and the film's love story and portrayal of Aline's relationship with her mother add depth to the story. While the film sometimes feels surface level, it is a heartfelt tribute to one of the greatest singers of all time.
