When they decide they might as well be penniless husbands and wives as penniless campus sweethearts, three couples at a Midwestern university, against the advice of their friends, get married. Joe and Susie Tucker prove that two can live as cheap as one by setting up housekeeping in a trailer, and working at whatever odd jobs turn up. (imdb)

The credits is a little weird here. Virginia Dale gets top billing, but she's barely a bit part. Instead this is the debut, and I also guess test, for Jeanne Cagney, the sister of you know who, as she gets all the attention here. And she does alright. Had the most personality of the bunch of them. Decent actress too. Not that this was a particularly challenging or ambitious movie, but she did fine at this level in her first feature film. The story wasn't much.
