All of Me is a very mixed bag, making it impossible for me to like it fully. While Steve Martin puts in a good performance, this is from the period before he really began to slide, the rest of the movie is lacking any substantial kind of plot and is a little too idiotic to really enjoy. For the mostpart it's just another typical awkward situation based comedy and it doesn't really stand out as anything but mediocre in many respects. I could just never really get all that involved in the film.

Movies like this make it possible for me to forgive Steve Martin for his role in the remake of The Pink Panther.

Steve Martin's pretty good at balancing the physical comedy, the witty repartee and the slightly poignant aspects of his character. Too bad the rest of the films is just a pretty bland 80s comedy. Some laughs but nothing more.

Martin is hilarious. His inspired physical humor coupled with a fine performance, matched by Tomlin in a smaller but no less important role, and a smart script make this an underrated, often forgotten gem.

A fun body/soul transfer movie. Steve Martin should have been nominated for an Academy award. He's wonderful.

Found a couple of laughs, but I did fall asleep the first time I tried to watch it.

It's mostly a typical 80s comedy with a weird twist, but Steve Martin's performance is notable.

Martin's physical performance is noteworthy, but there's nothing remotely funny in this.

Silly plot, but Martin is very funny and Tomlin is good too.

Viewed October 8, 2015. It makes me genuinely sad that Steve Martin was never even NOMINATED for an Oscar. His performance in this movie is way more soulful and tender than it ever had any right to be. And he's also, y'know, hilarious. For a time there, I'm pretty sure he was the single funniest person on the planet.

I'm not a fan of Steve Martin's silliness but there was something absolutely hilarious about Lily Tomlin and Steve Martin together in this film. I can still watch it over and over.

Frankly, even above Martin's masterful antics, my favorite might be Richard Libertini as the indecipherably Indian Prahka, who repeats words he doesn't understand in a tone of complete agreement. Yet, although All of Me is the last of the four Martin/Reiner collaborations, it gives Martin one of his all-time best screen opportunities to highlight his brilliant kind of physical slapstick

Steve Martin is at his best and Lily Tomlin shows her grace and charm. A truly funny screwball comedy. Libertini is the perfect punctuation.

Parts of this picture give viewers the kind of giddy pleasure that is often what we most want from the movies.

A solid mid-80's wacky comedy anchored by two fantastic leads in Martin & Tomlin, who build a great chemistry throughout. Victoria Tennant is excellent as well, even while her character goes in the exact direction you expect. Uneven in parts, namely through the second act, & the heroes aren't always super likeable, but all said it passes 90 minutes easy & offers plenty of humor. The ending sequence that the credits play over is really sweet. Worth a watch.

An amusing idea for a comedy (and predating the 80s "body swap" craze) is frustratingly played at a level of one-note mania by Martin/Reiner - funny at first, and Martin's performance is a masterpiece of wild physical comedy, but goes nowhere and sadly sidelines Tomlin to voice-over and deadpan reaction shots. Likable and pleasant enough, but a waste of the considerable comic resources at its disposal.

The most interesting thing about watching this for me, was that surely "Liar Liar" must have consciously cribbed bits of it.

I got some situational laughs, but not enough of them to give it a recommendation. The dumb factor gets cranked to eleven in the third act to sink it some more.
