I can barely remember Boe's first film Reconstruction, apart from that i enjoyed it and that it was a similar hybrid of a "cold and impersonal" conceptual framework (more meta- than science-fiction, or rather the latter used as an excuse for the former) and an emotional, romantic theme. So basically like a Kaufman/Jonze/Gondry film with a bit of moody, Scandinavian Dogme gloss. As essentially a romantic fable it's a bit on-the-nose and maybe even corny, but endearing and very well-executed.
