C'est un thriller divertissant, en dépit d'une actrice pas toujours convaincante, et de chapitres parfaitement longs et inutiles. Pas trop de clichés, c'est étonnant.

This is a quite difficult to rate simply because the "heroine" of the story quite literally gets lucky most of the time even when doing some really stupid things. The finale to wrap up the film was also very unsatisfying and falls right into the "girl power" action trope. It's too bad because there was a lot of suspense and decent acting in this film ultimately ruined by a very mediocre screenplay.

This movie put me at the edge of my seat, anxious, excited. I wanted to yell at the screen. It has several good intense sequences. Jules Willcox gave an excellent performance. It was cheesy to break the movie into titled chapters. I couldn't help but root for this girl even though the characters were a bit underdeveloped. Watch it if you are in the mood for a little scary excitement. Not without flaws, but worthwhile.

Great first 30 min. Decent middle. Bad ending. Worth the Netflix watch compared to a lot of stuff

Hyams has a facility for shooting in natural settings, but if this was to be an exercise in style, it would have benefited from paring back the screenplay even further, and if it was to be a generic thriller, the screenplay needed further work to lift it out of the realm of weak narrative, inadequately constructed situations and poor dialogue. The bad man's performance is less than stellar, the speech about suicide is a bit inane (seems to be a fashionable theme), and the ending stock standard.

Builds the tension really well for the first half or so and kind of limps along comparatively when it becomes the full on cat and mouse chase. Still worth it for the tense longshots in the first half.

Excellent set up for the first twenty or so minutes. The rest doesn’t manage to capture the anxiety and fear that was so prevalent at the beginning, but is still mostly enjoyable. I was personally pretty satisfied with the ending as well. It’s not particularly unique and has a few cliché moments, but it’s worth a watch. I’d also recommend not reading the summary as it gives just a little too much away.

Şehir hayatından çıkıp, ailesinin yanında tek başına arabasıyla giden Merve Dizdar'a benzeyen kızımız, yolda karşısına çıkan sapık ile ne yapacağını şaşırır. Yol hikayesi gibi başlayan film, kırmızı başlıklı kız masalı klişelerine dönüp, seyirciye zor anlar yaşatıyor. Kadına yapılan şiddete hayır diyoruz. Filmin sonunda, kendin işini kendin hallet. Ne bağırıyon be.

You might think that a horror film stripped back to its essence might accentuate the horror. But this ascetic approach to the genre fails Alone, instead making it a completely dry, bland, and mostly dull horror-thriller. Unlike other slashers, Alone has little blood beating through it. It avoids the campy and gratuitous nature slashers usually have, but in opting for restrained art-house minimalism, it ultimately just comes across as unsure of itself.

Yes, everyone knows that one shouldn't trust James Hetfield's 2003 look.

Raw, straightforward, nearly silent, spatially shot -- man, those travellings, those wide shots, those long shots; this is action bringing tension everywhere it can -- survival/psycho thriller with an immense physical tension from the very first second. Wilcox is awesome.

Not sure what the fuss is here. It is a pretty standard entry into this sub-genre, only with a more 'minimalist' style that not only fails to disguise the cliches but often interferes with the simple 'pleasures' we derive from these cat-and-mouse scenarios. The psycho resembles Ned Flanders, and the dialogue is pretty bad in key scenes. This viewer also got the vague impression that it was pandering to certain gender conflict narratives of the day.Hyams does create a few intense moments though.

It's got a lot of tension and a mostly smart main character. It suffers from movie bad guy magic where the guy can magically track their quarry down for no real reason in a huge forest. Apart from that, it was a decent watch.

It's pleasantly surprising to see such a straightforward thriller in 2020. It makes no attempt to reinvent the wheel, but also cuts way down on the eye-rollingly contrived bullshit the genre is usually plagued with. It does have the protagonist ludicrously impaling her foot on a stick while running barefoot in the woods, but for the most part it's pretty no-nonsense and achieves nail-biting tension in several scenes.
