Alone in the Dark II

This was a dumb ass movie and way worse than the lame first film.

Much better than the original, but really, does that mean anything when the original was that bad. Still is something I sure wouldn't recommend to anyone though as at times I was wondering what was really going on and how confusing it got sometimes. Sometimes these movies that are so bad can be fun to watch to make fun of, but not this. Pretty much a stinker. It is too bad there are some semi decent actors in this movie, but there is just bad direction and storytelling involved.

Surprisingly enough, it's worst than the first. The story is a mix between the 2009 game, a drunken storywriter's script and a 50's witch story.

Ed Wood would be proud, characters are forgotten, the strobe light for the lightning is left in the shot, and I still don't know what the knife is SUPPOSED to do. It's so bad I don't know whether I love it or hate it, but if you've got a few friends, this can turn into a pretty entertaining piece of bad cinema.
