Alting bliver godt igen
A film director flees from a car accident in which he was at fault -- out of fear of the consequences for his coming film and the adoption of his future son. The day after the accident, he discovers that the man he ran over is in fact hiding a dangerous secret capable of toppling the government. He decides to risk everything in an attempt to expose the man's story to the public -- but as it turns out, nothing is actually what it seems. (www.dfi.dk)

Whether you view this movie as a suspense thriller/hitchcock-homage or an art house curiosity it falls flat on its belly. Visually its fairly decently shot, but it is as if the director has just found the Digital Lens Flare-effect in Adobe After Effects and decided to use it in every shot. The Movie is a wast of good actors and what could have been a interesting plot...

The storyline simply just doesnt fit together and there are way to many plot holes! Great lighting and cinematography from Hr. Boe and Co. just isnt enough... You have to have some kind of substance as well sir. There seems to be somewhat of an overall theme to his films: Great images, but a weak, weak story!

I'll admit the more I see this, the more I like it. If nothing else then because it looks so goddamn beautiful. Boe may be the best living Danish director on a purely visual level. Lars von Trier views the world like a German Romanticist, but Boe views it like a Danish Architect and I love it. But yeah, I still have a hard time forgiving this movie for its ending.
