Indian scout Robert Taylor has to help the US Cavalry to find the general's daughter that's been kidnapped by Indians. It's a beautifully shot film and it tries to go deep when it comes to the characterizations, perhaps a little bit at the expense of the excitement, for it takes a while before thing starts generating a buzz, but the foundation is rock solid, cementing it as a quality western from MGM, a genre they'd mostly ignored up to this point.
