Loved the cast in this. The gruff boss from Graveyard Shift (everyone that was in Graveyard Shift will forever be "from Graveyard Shift" in my heart) and the girl with the hots for the prefrosh in PCU have to deal with a haunted clock. The gore is good. There's a weirdly erotic scene where PCU girl gets fondled by her mirror image. Not like a girl that looks like her. Her actual image in the mirror. Actually hits all the marks I require from horror anymore. Had fun again.

Not quite as terrible as the title, main premise, series, and direct-to-video release status might make you think. It's almost there, though.

I dunno, it ain't half bad actually. Competently directed and acted with some interesting bits of story.

I became very aware of how hard it is to make a clock interesting during this movie.

The straight-to-video Hellraiser sequel of straight-to-video Amityville sequels. The mirror-self-sex might be the best thing in any of them, and I do adore the convoluted mythology: the haunted clock coming from The House was apparently insufficient haunting, so before that it was the torture clock in Gilles de Rais' torture room, then came over on a ship (maybe the Mayflower!) 200 years later, then into The House 200 years after that, then straight to video and wouldn't you know it my heart

Actually, it's about time they stopped making these annoying video followups to previous horror hits. This owes more to _Poltergeist_ than to any of the other Amityvilles, with ideas pinched freely from _The Omen_, _They Came From Within_, and _The Blob_ and cameos by Talbot and Dick Miller.

Another surprisingly solid TV-movie Amityville sequel. The house/location is not as impressive as in “Evil Escapes”, but the characters are more interesting and the haunted clock / playing with time aspect is quite neat. It does lose some steam towards the end, and focuses more on horror cliches and effects instead of characters. That's a pity as there was more potential there. It restores itself a bit with the time loop ending and ends up as probably the 2nd best entry in the series.
