(Note from 2016: This review no longer reflects my current political views. But I will leave it up for posterity.) Fuck off, David Zucker. Fuck you, fuck your career, fuck everyone who acted in or produced or held a boom mic in this awful shitpile. (P.S. Love the "opposing the President is wrong!" message coming from fucking conservatives.) (P.P.S. Also love the Republicans seriously trying to rebrand John F. Kennedy as a right-wing Arab-hating Republican who admired Ronald fucking Reagan.)

It is possible to make a conservative film lampooning liberals like Moore, but instead, Zucker made a ridiculous piece of garbage that basically reflects all that is wrong with his ideologies. This movie is Rob Schneider bad, but in a worse way, because respected artists like Jon Voight and Kelsey Grammer put feces covered exclamation points at the end of their otherwise accomplished careers.

Holy shit that was a bad movie. Completely insane. If you like this movie then you are clearly out of your mind. I hate Michael Moore as much as the next guy but that was excruciating. There are a few good ideas buried under a pile of unfunny jokes and retarded acting but at the end all the good of this movie is lost to the terrible. Really, really horrible. Wow.

Is this film a republican attacking liberals, or a liberal attacking republicans on how they see liberals? I don't know! Perhaps it is an attack on the american audience who thought that this might be a good film when they went to see it?

Ugly, petulant wail from a particularly nasty strain of ill-informed, conservative thinking - one has to think that Zucker is attempting to spoof the idea of a conservative spoof film, but even on that basis, this is a crass, mean-spirited attack on Michael Moore (who's certainly a ripe target for an intelligent spoofing). While Woods, Grammer and Voight gravitate to this sort of garbage like bees to honey, it's disappointing (and depressing) to see a haggard Nielsen being trotted out for this.

FULL DISCLOSURE: Watched on a dare. All you need to know about this movie is that it contains a slapstick gag involving the remains of 9/11 victims moments after chiding liberals for not taking 9/11 seriously.

It's one big, unfunny ad hominem attack. I stopped watching when the ghost of George Washington said "...like freedom of speech, which you abuse."

An abysmal piece of warmongering, right-wing, conservative, anti-free-speech, jingoistic rubbish that reflects horribly on the frame of mind of everyone involved.

a film directed by a (cyrpto-)liberal who imagines how a conservative bigot would have made an anti-liberal movie (so as to make his opponent ashamed). I cannot find any other logical explanation for this shit. even a conservative would be too clever for such a mockery!

It's incredible just how dumb this film is, and how much respect I lost for everyone involved - particularly Zucker, Grammer, Hopper, Nielsen and Voight who have all done good work in their career. This is at best unfunny, proudly stupid and poorly put together propaganda. Honestly, one of the worst films I have ever seen. Everyone involved should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

The creators would like to think that everybody hates this movie because of some liberal bias. Truth is, the movie just isn't funny. I believe Team America made fun of Moore in a much, much finnier way.

A mind-numbing attempt at a conservative comedy: the laziest possible parody of Michael Moore (named "Michael Malone") aims to abolish the 4th of July: three ghosts (Gen. Patton, George Washington, and...Trace Adkins?) show him the error of his ways. Crass, totally unsubtle, and virtually never funny; it's also sexist, homophobic, mean-spirited, and anti-intellectual (and anti-documentary, for some reason). The acting is fairly hopeless, and the writing even more so. A dispiriting experience.

The worst Zucker brother makes the worst Zucker picture. Still, do you wanna know what thought and how felt the average American conservative during the Bush years? Watch this

Such a shame this came from Zucker, he's better than this crap. I liked the portrayal of Moore but other than that this movie had nothing to offer besides a couple of scenes that just make you role your eyes and say, why am I watching this again? Grade: D

This movie scores a few points for sheer curiosity value: this may be the most brazenly right-wing big-budget American movie since _Red Dawn_. There's also a nice zombie sight gag, complete with Dennis Hopper, star of _Land of the Dead_... which is not real witty, but fascinating to watch in a warped sort of way. For these reasons, it's at least better than _Canadian Bacon_. It still sucks like few things have ever sucked before. Seriously not funny, and often in a juvenile and tasteless way

Meh, couple laughs, but there's nothing here and it's infuriating occasionally. Also, I had to listen to Trace Adkins. Twice.

It had some hilarious points, but extremely over the top. And I thought that it was supposed to tell why wars were necessary and then it says that Abraham Lincoln fought the civil war to abolish slavery? Read your history again please. And not the fifth grade stuff. "My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I wo

Just mean-spirited, disingenuous, ideological claptrap from start to finish. More proof that trying to mock people when you're the group in power just makes you look like a petulant child. Also more proof that the wrong Farley died.
