Not surprised to discover Fischinger contributed art to the Bach segment of Fantasia, and possibly was even the inspiration for it in the first place. Also a clear ancestor of procedurally-generated CGI: screensavers, automatic music visualizers, rhythm games, and the layered, vector-y, parallaxy kind of smartphone/tablet interface graphics; in particular, the sequence with the blue squares is eerily ahead of its time.

a FANTASIA-like attempt to represent classical music with abstract imagery, but without that awful old white guy. which is an improvement, by the way.

The first music video? Hard to rate because I'm not sure if I would have rated it higher if I didn't like the composition of music a lot.

Really enjoyed this. Music represented as figures in motion, and it's done well. Also, the musical piece used is great, so it gets points just for that.
