A sweet story about a talkative 14 year old orphan Anne Shirley who movies in with a couple of old folks. I guess they tried to cover too much ground with this with compared to the length of the movie as they didn't always have time to get the emotional climaxed out of the scenes. But never mind, it was still a charm filled movie where especially the friendship between the girl and old O.P. Heggie which warmed the most.
