Another Stakeout

Has some funny dialogue but that's it.

Totally lacks the charm of the first one.

Inferior to stakeout #1.

Rosie took a big greasy poop all over what should have been a decent sequel.

Not necessarily an awful film, just a film that doesn't really do anything well and is completely and fully forgettable.

Lacks all the charm of the first, and rehashes most of the same jokes.

Passes the time.

While the original was a bit uneven, mixing surprisingly violent action with comedy, it did provide some real surprises and had proper chemistry between Dreyfuss and Stowe.This one goes full comedy, adds O'Donnell and replaces violence with slapstick. The result is clearly below it's predecessor, and Dreyfuss especially seemed to forget how he played his role in the 1st one. It's quite distracting if you check these two films shortly after one another. At least it has Ferrer and Farina in it.
