Aroused by Gymnopedies

Like "Tenten" meets Jarmusch's "Broken Flowers", this first film in the Nikkatsu Roman Porno reboot series immediately deviates from its supposed origins by having the leading role be a man. Which would be acceptable if the four featured women weren't so one-dimensional and fleeting. As we find out, the women being interchangeable and unfulfilling is the point of the film, but that payoff doesn't justify how little care and attention is paid to the individual actresses of this pink film.
