For kids only. The only funny thing was when Federer was saying "Kubica will not participate this year, so we can win."

ger; [Asterix bei den olympischen Spielen]; um die griechische königstochter zu bekommen müssen asterix und obelix bei den olympischen spielen gewinnen - doch sie treten gegen brutus an, der wiederum eigentlich nur caesar beerben will.;

Pretty good, if you like constant jokes about modern day objects being precursored in Roman times, and cameos by modern day celebrities dressed up in Roman clothes.

Belgian Benoît Poelvoorde as Brutus made me laugh several times. The rest stank just as much as the first movie.

The plot is not brilliant (far from it), but the small jokes throughout this film are wonderful. The cameos, the "Roman", "Egyptian" or "Germanic" names, ... I love it.

I really like Astérix, but... 10 for Alain Delon (I love his first scene) and 10 for the cameo of Michael Schumacher (I'm fan of him), not more.

Almost as bad as its reputation - and especially diasappointing in comparison with the silly but quite charming 'Mission: Cleopatra'. Asterix and Obelix are merely sidekicks in their own movie with probably less than 5% of the dialogue - quite sad.

Why they have to rape these iconic characters? The casting just sucks gorilla's balls and the story doesnt make it any better.

very good... no no no.... Excellent actors, some very funny scenes, but not that good script. An excellent movie for a family night.

The best aspect of this Astérix film are the puns made with the character names. This offering is low energy, banal and goes on for far too long; the film peters out with a post-credit scenes coming before the credits. Cornillac isn't a great Astérix nor is he really given a chance to be one.
