The implausibility of this plot makes Gravity seem like a documentary. A cross between Cocoon and a Very British Space Launch, this old guy with a history of laying tarmac wins a lottery to go into space on an inaugural space launch, but finds 3 pebbles on the runway and instantly diagnoses a potential safety problem. Richard Branston, I mean Marcus Brown, delays the launch and most people live happily ever after. If it wasnt for Dreyfuss, who is a consumate actor, this would have been awful.
