All the shit I watch, & the only shit that scares me is the same shit that scared me when I was 4 years old: the monster under the bed/in the closet. Sleepin' with the lights on tonight, thanks movie.

It has one neat idea, but it doesn't go anywhere. The rest of the movie is unremarkable and nothing you haven't seen a dozen times before

Surprisingly effective with some really creepy scenes. Like another reviewer said basically a haunted house/neighbourhood to scare you with only a skeleton of a story to connect it, essentially three shorts with an overarching story. Worth a watch at night.

I thought this one was creepy enough, some good effective moments, not sure the movie cleared up some things but that's fine.

It's a good effort: the effects are great, the creepiness is there, it is not unnecessarily long, and the acting is adequate. The story as a whole though makes little sense.

A haunted house (or haunted neighborhood) ride with influences from the likes of Insidious and, more distantly, the Grudge films (there is also perhaps a whiff of Latin American magic realism in the case of a corpse who reappears at the family dinner table). Like those ancestors, Terrified is pretty open about being little more than a scare-delivery mechanism, and it delivers them well. If everything doesn't tie together or necessarily make total sense in the end, so be it.

damn . what a wild ride!

I've been watching that 101 scariest moments fluff garbage on Shudder and it lead me to this and what a light little apookadoodle to start the Fall season off with. No jump scares, just some dread and chills. South American horror is obsessed with tall naked people as monsters.

With a title like Terrified, you better believe you will experience some moments of pure terror. There are images that frightened me so badly! The scares were spot on, but I wish the storyline and pacing were a bit better.

Now, this is one scary South-American horror. Magnificent movie.

Its problem is that it feels way too generic in its approach to horror.

I found this very effective as a small scale tale with some pretty big scares. The story was a bit more confusing than it probably intended to be, but the sound and creature designs were really great.
