A Greek Fisherman brings an Atlantean Princess back to her homeland which is the mythical city of Atlantis. He is enslaved for his trouble. The King is being manipulated by an evil sorcerer who is bent on using a natural resource of Atlantis to take over the world. Badly put together stock footage of clouds and volcanoes really stick out in my mind, but the story wasn't that uninteresting, although it could have been written better.

One of Pal's weakest fantasy films, this comes off like a poor man's Harryhausen. Stilted acting and too much stock footage (much of the fiery destruction at the end is lifted from the burning of Rome climax from _Quo Vadis_) but some of the FX are good, the photography colorful, and there's a weird, out-of-nowhere, _Island of Dr. Moreau_-like subplot involving mad surgeon Berry Kroeger and his beast men.

Oscillating between B and Z movie, this cheesy adventure film is bad in most ways but has a bit of camp value that doesn't make it a total loss. The Trial of Fire and Water fight scene, for instance, is maybe the most hilariously terrible fight scene I've ever seen in a movie and must be seen to be believed.
