Attack on Darfur

As a Sudanese , this film had touch me personally , yet I can not ignore the bad directing & acting

I appreciate Boll's effort, especially in the early scenes of the film, to create a realist documentary-style effect. Some possibly unscripted scenes there are actually good. Take away the gratuitously graphic scenes, the contrived heroism and the use of music in the soundtrack during massacres, and maybe this could have been decent. But you can't take any of those away, of course, because it is in essence a Darfur-themed exploitation flick. That's what Boll does, after all. Exploitation.

From Uwe Boll's works I've only seen House of the Dead and while the 2003 film isn't that bad with Attack on Durfur the director steps into the good film territory. The village set and the people living in there feel (and look) like Sudaneses (because some of them are actually refugees from Darfur) and there are some excellent moments of acting.
