Edmund Lowe as a brilliant no nonsense lawyer. Too brilliant, convicting innocent men, which makes him change sides and help those he's wronged. Lowe puts on a strong performance in what's a fairly standard story. Even more 'on' was Evelyn Brent as femme fatal so obvious you want to stay well clear. On opposite side you have Constance Cummings as the sweetest most loyal dame around. And that all melts into a quality court room wallop!
