It's refreshing to see these new Finnish films directed by young women, as they tend to focus on contemporary stories instead of the usual stale biopics. I'm not exactly the target demo and it took me a while to tune to film's wavelength; it is a bit unfocused, but also entertaining and not afraid to handle hot topics without being preachy. It's well shot and makes good use of it's locations. I could see this being relatable for non-Finns as well - especially those feeling stuck in small towns.
