A reasonably enjoyable, sleazy little number with a recognisable exploitation feel. The score is interesting and effective, and Pyle does a decent job of playing a girl who has just lost it. It's pretty short, not very deep, and the gore effects are a bit naff. Another one on the "nasties" list that seems a bit tame compared to the stuff being made now. Worth a look if you're interested in the genre, or just watch the trailer which isn't much shorter, and tells you everything you need to know.

Crummy _Last House on the Left_ rip. Cheesy gore job shot in North Carolina.

The film looked and felt grimy and dirty with some mean and nasty characters but what really made this movie work was the incredible performance from Leslie Lee. Leslie Lee just gave off this disquieting and eerie vibe and had the hair on the back of my neck sticking up. Her performance alone kept me enthralled.

A movie everything is just slightly off. It has a very slow unique rhythm. Every scene seems to drift from one to the other. The characters interact with each other but everything seems meaningless unless violence is directly done to someone. Outsiders are merely props for sadistic laughs. Everything coated in a dusty nostalgic haze and if you dare wipe it away you’re dragged to the grossest depths of the human mind. Love this sub genre of 70’s female led revenge horror movies. So brutal.

A surprisingly accomplished cult classic of inner perversity hiding in the most unexpected of places. (I say that, but I've always found rural North Carolina an inherently freaky place.) Sure it's 60-some minutes long, but it holds the tension, characters are memorable, and the set pieces always have a hint of depravity. A Video Nasty that is more about atmosphere than content.

Surprisingly quite good. After the first few minutes I thought I'd hate it, but it actually built up a fairly intense atmosphere. Lisa was creepy and the main bad dude was a douche, and they both played the parts well. Gore was crappy and not a whole lot happens though.
