Axed

There are hardly words to describe how idiotic and insulting to its audience this flick is. Jonathan Hansler certainly gives an intense performance as the sadistic and psychopathic father, but at the service of this dreck, it hardly matters. I generally avoid horror flicks--indeed, when I started to watch this, I thought it was going to be something else--why do people behave so stupidly in them? Or maybe it's just a Brit thing. The hapless family appears to suffer from Stockholm Syndrome.
