I feel insulted by the PSI thinking I would give this one a good score.

Awesome. A little girl in a leather skirt taking on 100 bad guys with a sword? I'm in.

Totally would have been favourite film ever had I watched it in my mid-teens. As it is, I just like it a whole lot. Combat in film rarely does anything for me, but I thought all the battles here were wildly entertaining, not to mention brief enough that none of them ever wound up feeling repetitive. Also liked the shades-of-grey storyline and most of the characters. I'll concede that Mr. White should've stayed in FFVII and Mr. Black's sounds were ridiculous, although the latter made me laugh.

Even though I watched plenty of anime and samurai movies this one was too cheesy on my account. Samurai shodown style special encounters were entertaing enough if you can get past the fillings. *edit: I read the manga, it's a masterpiece.

Even though the bloof here looks so~ unreal, this movie is worth watching !

Sugar rush overload.

Brilliant Japanese historical hero stuff.

The titular character didn't display any charisma throughout the entire film, and none of the characters showed great skill that would lead me to believe they could kill hundreds of men effortlessly. Despite these flaws, it's entertaining enough.

It's entertaining and all, but longer than it needs to be considering what little it has to offer.

As expected the acting is horrible. The action is pretty cool to watch though, as is the pretty heroine.

There are some interesting ideas (i.e. villain's look-alike) and together with handsome actors & picturesque sceneries combined with 360° battle shots they make it really good.What bothers me are the sensei's "decisions" and disturbing monkey-face guy.Also, some assassins are just plain stupid making it look like a comedy.On the other hand,we have several very sad and emotional moments. I like Azumi's coat in last scenes, it makes her look very badass.The whole movie speaks volumes for feminism.

A good action film. Some moments were pretty tense. And the genre says it's definately an Adventure. I haven't seen an adventure film in a good while.

Pretty young Japanese woman slices up lots of people with a sword. Now,obviously,that's good enough for lots of folk but if you belong to the school of thought that films with swordfights where people defy the laws of gravity,float through the sky,take on 200 times their number are a bit crap then avoid this one!

Final Fantasy fan film.

The best parts (the action) is above average action choreography, but the bad parts are like from the worst acting category - dull, stiff, overlong and tedious for what it is. A teenager with a sword slicing and dicing hundreds of rapists, sellswords and bandits. The cgi backgrounds and comp work have not aged that well.

Played like a really shoddy Uwe Boll video game picture.

awesome plot. for the first three quarters at least...

I had high hopes after seeing Versus, however this film just didn't deliver. Most of the characters were forgettable, and the story wasn't really that great. It might be entertaining if you're into anime though.
