Baba Yaga

Disjointed, odd and miscast yet effective, haunting and enjoyable Eurocult film. I just love the 60s pop art aesthetics infused with gothic horror, so fascinating.

I liked it more than I thought. Good atmosphere. Seemingly out of place but thought-provoking dialogue. Fav scene: photos revealing Baba Yaga.

A moderately sleazy, imaginative, but rather dull wannabe-stylish piece of Eurotrash. It is reasonably well put together, with some decent ideas (from a comic originally?), but the casting and plotting are a bit naff. It probably suffered from a bit of cutting before release. Worth checking out if you're a fan of nudity and somewhat baffling horror-drama.

Sparks the imagination, like climbing an extra stair just to find out it's not there.

I liked the editing style how they movie from one place to the other. The film itself was boring and needlesly extewnted and slow. The leading girl was very seventies and a good choice. There was not much of promised S&M imagery and nudity was very artsy.
