Baby Done

Baby Done is a decent film with some really funny scenes, the occasional poignant moment and a slightly inconsistent tone that essentially turns towards a cute RomCom-esque feel. Matafeo and Lewis have an awkward chemistry that works. The film is less about achieving your dreams and more about coming to grips with your reality. While the honest humour is great, it does come at the expense of believability.

Such a great feeling film. Some moments break the illusion of reality (the confetti cannon and the dog incident) but the overall tone is great. It almost made me cry too. Bonus points for Madeliene Sami's sarky nurse.
