I feel lukewarm about this one - it's not the best B5 movie, but it's not the worst either. The acting is ok, the story is ok... that's the problem, everything is ok, but nothing is really special or worth mentioning. And as usual it's pretty much for fans of the show only.

Kind of awkward and out of place in the Babylon 5 story, which is too bad, because there's some decent material here It tries to make you feel like the stakes are at an all-time high, but by the time you're ready to watch this, you've already seen stakes WAY higher.

As a huge B5 fan, this one left me feeling flat. Certainly worth seeing if you saw the series, it's probably not good fare for anyone else.

Not movie material. The whole thing plays like an extended version of a TV episode, much like many of the later Star Trek films do. Except in the case of Babylon 5 a feature-length episode comes off worse than Star Trek, because it doesn't feel part of a bigger story in the same way B5 episodes from this season do.

An overlong episode of the show, really.

This was just an ok movie. It had some good moments, but the main threat wasn't that interesting. If you're a B5 fan its worth watching, but its far from being a must see movie.

Another pretty decent stand alone film from the Babylon 5 gang. This one is very heavy on the morality and philosophical aspects of the series which can be a bit too much. The battle scenes are very well done and when there are action scenes they are also good.

Top badass moment? Sheridan jetpacks through a spaceship firefight to set off some nukes (with a 5 minute timer), whilst fighting giant monsters; I'd be curious to see the Risk Assessment for that. This movie contains a contender for the worst B5 scene anywhere – Zack and Lyta in the lift; seriously, it's pitiful and just goes on and on. The plot's decent, but it's an oddly lacklustre film that's marooned in the middle of the best season. For completists. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

Five years after the pilot, and a great many improvements in narrative and acting later, we get this middling kind of nothing of a tv movie for B5.
