Back Pay

The story is kind of beautiful but so poorly written that it's no wonder Corinne Griffith didn't make it as an actress in the talkies with this kind of releases. The acting was like it was during the first year of talking pictures. Hammy and overly melodramatic. And the dialogue was so lacking that it felt like they'd left out half the script. Still a very rare chance to hear the silent star talk and if one can accept it's fault it's sort of sweet.
