Back Roads

A very bleak, joyless story of dark family secrets and abuse. I didn't much care for the main character, because their non-descript way of dealing with most situations didn't really make me feel anything for them. I got that it was their personality, but watching them just made me feel kind of meh. I feel like there could have been more there, so it just left me feeling fairly unaffected, even with the tragic story.
