Bad Reputation

Jett's a fascinating, likable person. At 14 she put herself out there & started living the life most rockers don't start until they're over 18 & she did it a time when female rockers were very rare. Stunningly self-possessed, she did this matter-of-factly w/out preaching or demonizing anyone, but by simply going out & doing what she wanted to do. There's something inspiring & undeniable about becoming a feminist icon by not wasting time complaining, but by holding her own & setting an example.
