A very intimate portrait of a film, in which virtually every frame is spent with Salomé Richard's Ana, a damaged hero/heroine in a turbulent time of her life, as she lives her life making numerous mistakes and struggling against the world. Rachel Lang depicts millennial life with a cinema vérité attitude, while also exploring themes of identity, sexuality, family and mortality. I believe the title refers to our dreams or ambitions versus the reality of what we are able to achieve in life. Goo
