Raunchy underdog sports movie is passable entertainment; harking back to silly 80s smut comedies, it does have a few chuckles here and there, mostly thanks to Quaid (whose co-starring billing is really little more than a cameo). Scott lacks the go-for-broke nuttiness that, say, a Will Ferrell might have brought, but he is still enjoyable.

Seann William Scott shows up again in this over-the-top comedy. Luckily Randy Quaid shows up for only the briefest moments, giving the audience Houseman's father figure that they never made the audience really care about. After he is bounced from the screen the movie really picks up some steam. There are tender moments of drama that juxtapose strangely with the balls out comedy moments. I expected this movie to be terrible and I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't hate myself after it.

Love me some Seann William Scott but the movie blows. Has a few laughs but it just screams low budget and every major plot development you can see coming from a mile away. It never really had a chance because it's about tennis and tennis is about as entertaining as my butt
