Bananas!*

It is not true as reviewer "bof" said, the lawyer was "accused" of tweaking the facts from Dole's multi-million dollar campaign against him and the film-makers. However, truth prevailed in the end and Dole had the retreat. Just saw a Swedish documentary about this documentary. Now THAT'S what I call a powerful documentary.

As a documentary, on its own, it's not that strong. However, the story *about* the film is really interesting stuff, so I strongly recommend seeing it anyway, together with its "sequel" Big Boys Gone Bananas.

Documentary on Dole's treatment of the workers who make sure we have cheap bananas. Interesting, and no less so for the questions it raises about film-maker responsibility since it later turned out the "good" lawyer had had his witnesses tweak the facts a bit.
