Basgan

The southern part of Cyprus is a member of the European Union; while Turkish Cypriots live in the northern part, defined as "uncontrolled territories" by the European Union. Arif Salih Kırdağ strongly believes that he will solve the 40-year-old Cyprus dispute by bringing Greeks and Turks together under a common state. He seems to lose his sense of reality while pursuing this quest and searching for support for his cause. (IKSV)
