Batman: Bad Blood

While less memorable than Batman vs. Robin, Batman: Bad Blood isn't as downright awful as Son of Batman. It's voice acting is still bad and the animation isn't great either but for the most part the story has improved. Not the worst of the new animations but far from the best.

A standout. A lot of films filled with this much wall-to-wall action might suffer in terms of story, but this takes just enough breaks for character development and to move the plot forward that it's as streamlined & action-packed as films like this (and with this many characters) are likely to get. Director Jay Oliva continues to deliver well choreographed fight scenes & even Alfred gets a great moment. It all comes together to make for an excellent introduction to the "Batman Family".

Somber film pulls the old 'HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES' trick of keeping its hero out of the spotlight for a decent chunk of the story; the machinations and adventures of the other characters provide an entertaining and enjoyable ride, but its still all pretty shallow and unchallenging.

This was surprisingly good but it all felt too rushed.

Bad Blood makes the mistake of thinking that more two-dimensional characters means more entertainment. It doesn't. All it means is that the somewhat decent plot gets buried in a dull parade of barely known comic creations, stringed together by animated acts of violence.

The Bat Family makes its DC animated movie universe debut in this gripping Gotham tale. Batman goes missing and its up to Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Damian Wayne/Robin, Kate Kane/Batwoman and others to come together to keep Gotham from spiraling into madness. Only downside was the villains bar one were one-note but the characterizations were on point for these beloved characters.

Whenever I watch Batman, I fail to stop myself from comparing it with the excellent animated series. Batman in these new movies looks shallow, rude,confused and clueless about what he is doing. It's not like the other characters associated with him in these movies are any better. However once we are accommodating of this imperfect new batman world, the movie looks pretty decent, of course not up to the mark but passable.

More like Batman: Bad Dialogue. A more or less soulless hotchpotch of vivid pictures and nicely drawn Batman characters (but what about that douchy necklace on Grayson?!). Best part: shotgun-shooting and katana-swinging nuns.

Yet another straight to video Batman story, flashy but nothing amazing

Batman: Bad Blood (2016) is a dark toned and serious animation from Warner Bros. Chilling with no smiles around. However you got to be a fan because they make the story too intricate for someone who doesn't follow the Batman universe closely.
