Batman Unlimited: Mech vs. Mutants

Enjoyable animated adventure breaks no new ground, but for this Generation Y-er was a nostalgic and fun throwback to Saturday morning cartoon fare; a light hearted and good-natured adventure which breaks absolutely no new ground, and doesn't outstay its welcome at an hour and some change.

This was okay, Might actually be the best one I've seen today, granted that's not saying much.

Top badass moment? Where do I start? Batman and the Green Arrow having their own Jaegers. The Penguin pissing off the Joker. Green Arrow taking time out in the middle of a fight, to decide which building to trash, based on his ownership of it and the insurance implications; (take note Superman, next time you’re 'defending' Metropolis). Really, these Batman Unlimited films are far better than they ought to be. Sometimes you just need heroes without the angst. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

Batman goes Transformers. A typical extended Saturday morning cartoon - 80s style! Got all the elements to entertain a superhero fans, but for some reason most of it is a bore.
