Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

It's a pretty entertaining crossover. I was never a TMNT fanatic or anything, but I have seen enough of the movies and show(s) that I was still pleased with what they did with them. Batman feels very much like Batman. I thought the mutants fight scene halfway through was kind of goofy though. Other than that theanimation is fine and I'm sure people expecting a Batman Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be mroe than satisfied.

I don't really like how the turtles look but otherwise I was loving this. I do wish they would brought back Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy. Even when it turns into a video game I was still on board. Although Joker and Poison Ivy were both a let down. The ending was kind of dumb but overall this was fantastic.

Wasn't sure what to expect when being unfamiliar with the modern day animated versions of the title characters. Overall I was surprised I had so much fun with this. That may stem from the nostalgia of seeing animated turtles for the first time since the 90s, but there's an entertaining action adventure here if this is your kind of thing. Your reaction to the title alone will reveal if this is your kind of thing for those who were uncertain :)

The two franchises are perfectly blended together in a story that justifies the team-up and, even better, non-stop action. The characterizations are spot on, I ACTUALLY laughed out loud several times at the humor and I'm a stoic sonuvabitch, and like the original TMNT comics it's a furious blend of grimness, violence (never thought I'd get to see the Turtles kill outside of Mirage), and absurd cartoonish excess. Fan service abounds in all the best ways, leaving me breathless.

Kind of fun but really silly.

I liked this a lot better than I thought I would. I wanted to see this as obviously it's a bit of a weird choice of a crossover, but I also like Troy Baker as Batman. I expected it to be okay but I'm often underwhelmed by these DC animated movies compared to my expectations. This time, I was pleasantly surprised. One of the better animated movies from DC I've seen, period. Beaten only by The Dark Knight Returns as far as I can see.

Gives you exactly what you want and expect from a Batman and Turtles straight-to-streaming movie.

Delivers almost exactly what fans of both franchises want, with only a few moments that feel forced or that bring the fun to a stop. The animation on the whole isn't really my favorite, especially with how plain the Turtles' faces are, but the voicework is awesome and the end result is a really fun movie with plenty of in-jokes.

TMNT made boring old Batman fun again!
