Battle in Outer Space

I like a lot of the props and sets.

Just pure 50s sci-fi. The earth is attacked by flying saucers, so the whole world comes together to sent a mission to the moon to battle the aliens. There is very little plot beside this and the characters are stereotypes. But the reason to watch this is are the fun and charming, but nowadays not convincing special effects. Besides that it moves at a good enough pace to avoid any major lulls.

Good music, nifty production design, dumb script.

It was amusing seeing a 1959 vision of a space force. The team obviously had fun with the visual effects and props but the story execution was just awful. "F--ing gravity, how does it work?"

Just silly.
