An honest portrayal. Which is rare especially for a film of this type.

the "More serious" look at hip hop culture, once again the best thing about it is the music. Breakin' was West coast, Beat street is east. Produced by Harry Belafonte. IF you can, skip the romantic scenes, the music is horrible

Some nice footage of the originals of hip hop but all in all a commercial sell out.

Dancing was great in the 80's. Now it's kinda funny.

I was impressed, you can really learn a lot about hip hop just from that movie. There wont be no part 2 event though I'd like to know what happens with the boys. All in all it was a nice one.

As a film is awful, but as a document, good.
